   Good morning,

   This sometimes happens with an appliance on roof of mouth as the tongue gravitates toward something new. Please send pic of the appliance so we can see if it is hanging too low and needs to be adjusted ASAP or it can wait until your scheduled appointment. Encourage her to avoid pressing against it with her tongue, which is the cause of the irritation.

   Thanks for using Telexam, Due to the tongue pressure, an indentation is being created. The appliance does not need to be raised, rather some cushioning resin is indicated to prevent the tongue from going into the space. Please call for a 30min appointment to add this resin at your earliest convenience. Thank you
